ATN offers personalised careers advice and guidance for customers over the age of 19. This project aims to help customers with their career plans, gives support to review their existing skill set and helps to equip customers with new skills and abilities that will be beneficial to them in their job search. 

You will have a chance to meet with an advisor who will provide you with tailored advice to help you reach your career goals and to meet your targets. Following your meeting with your advisor, you may be offered a place on one of our training programmes where you will have an opportunity to achieve an accredited qualification.

Our current training programmes include:

Health and Safety Training Level 2

Professional training which could result in an accredited qualification in Health & Safety
Improve your knowledge and skills, reduce risks, make workplaces healthier and safer for everyone and improve long-term business performance.

Food Safety Training Level 2

Professional training which could result in an accredited qualification in Food Safety
Improve your knowledge and understanding of the basic principles of food hygiene and gain an awareness on how to work safely so as to protect the food served from contamination.

IT Training

Suitable for beginners and for those who want to develop existing skills
Gain knowledge on Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and basic computer usage
Build skills and gain confidence which can help you progress in your career

Functional Skills Qualification in English and Mathematics, Entry Levels 1, 2 & 3 and Levels 1 & 2

These courses will give you the essential skills needed for everyday life, work and education
Enhance you calculation skills with the Mathematics classes that will help you in both your personal and working life

ESOL (English for Speakers of Other Languages)

Improve your English with an ESOL Skills for Life Certificate and gain English Language Skills you need to get on in life and work
Improve your English in speaking, listening, reading and writing
